History

Samuel Lloyd is the grandfather of one of the founders of the company.

Born in 1877, Samuel was originally a policeman, and his determination to be lawful and an outstanding citizen is one of the benchmarks of the company.

He was quite the administrator, and through thriftful monitoring of his finances, he was eventually able to purchase an Elizabethan manor house and farm.

Standing 193cm tall, Samuel was an outstanding man in all respects, and Samuel Lloyd Mouldings Ltd embodies his ethos of hard work, good administration and thriftful finance allied to fairness, with good manners put into everything it does.

The Lloyd family name stretches way back into history, with famous branches developing into Lloyds Bank PLC, and Lloyds of London Insurance with its iconic building.

Samuel Lloyd carries on these traditions in having the most up-to-date plastic moulding machines, with the infrastructure of a new production facility to ensure its products and service live up to its illustrious name.
