Based in Worcestershire, England, Samuel Lloyd is the largest supplier by volume to the UK market of rotary moulded lids for waste and recycling containers, producing over 110,000 units per annum.

In addition, our purchase in 2023 of a three-stage shuttle rotary moulding machine – with a working range of four square metres – gives us the capacity for trade moulding of large items such as water tanks and street furniture.

We know that competitive pricing is important to our customers, and our in-place buying power for plastic powder materials both virgin and recyclable, allied to our highly efficient production facility, ensures that our top-quality products are available at very competitive price levels for our customers.

We carry large stocks of standard sizes of lids, so we can usually despatch lids immediately once an order is placed. For special sizes or colours, our lead times are 3 to 7 days. We deliver all over the world using tried and tested contract carriers, which are supplemented by our own fleet of delivery transporters when required.

Our commitment to quality management ensures that we consistently produce high-quality products in a manufacturing facility that upholds the highest standards of traceable administration and customer satisfaction.

Sustainability and environmental responsibility are central to the company’s ethos, and we continuously strive to protect and enhance our already strong environmental credentials.

Trade Lids

Lids for trade and commercial collection of waste.

Lid-in-Lid (Body and Flap)

For the collection of trade or domestic waste. Ideal for domestic waste users who are elderly or infirm, because they do not need to open the main lid to deposit their waste.

Forward Facing Recycling (Body & Flap)

Lids for trade and commercial recycling waste.

Reverse Trade

This lid has a smaller Lid in lid to make loading of the container easier and the reverse lid makes it difficult for users to deposit large items into the container.

Reverse Recycling (Body & Flap)

A very popular lid. Enables information logos to be put on the reverse side of the container from the lifting comb bar where the emptying vehicle can damage any logos. The lid also helps to prevent contamination of the container, because it makes it difficult to put large items or bags of domestic waste into the container.

Skip Lids

Heavy-duty covers designed to fit over open skips (large waste containers), helping to contain waste, prevent unauthorised access, and protect contents from weather.
